My 36 kg kettlebell workout for my 36th birthday
The picture was taken January 21, 2013 a few days after I was released from the hospital due to my ulcerative colitis flare. I was first diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease in 2008. That was my history with IBD. The below videos are my today.
I’m proud of the strength I’ve built over the years but I really want to help others with IBD see that it can be possible to be strong while living with IBD. You don’t have to use kettlebells – or even lift weights – simply find a way that fits into your personality, lifestyle, and current abilities and take that first step (baby steps are cool too).
