In support of their commitment to encapsulation purity, our partners at Thorne Research have chosen not to use magnesium or vegetable stearates, fatty acids that are often combined with other manufacturing aids to make powder flow more quickly and easily during manufacturing. PURE SOURCING
Only the purest and finest raw materials are used to create our products. In manufacturing there are two main options: truly raw materials or raw materials with substances added to them to help with manufacturing. Very few sources are available for vitamins B12, D, K, or biotin that haven’t been diluted with lactose, cornstarch, and preservatives. Thorne Research has developed manufacturing methods that allow them to use pure, undiluted nutrients to create the purest products possible.
COMMITMENT TO TESTING AND CERTIFICATION
All of our products are made at Thorne Research’s state-of-the-art facility. Every batch of ingredients is quarantined and tested for identity and purity before being released for manufacturing. Some products are tested again after mixing to ensure the proper mixture. After manufacturing has been completed, every finished product is tested before being released for sale.
Good manufacturing practices (GMPs), standard operating procedures for ensuring manufacturing consistency within an industry, are required by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They ensure, when followed exactly, a high level of consumer safety in all aspects of manufacturing. Thorne Research has completed two weeklong FDA inspections with no GMP violations.
EXOS Performance Nutrition is produced in an NSF International GMP registered facility. NSF International is an independent organization that verifies the facility has the proper methods, equipment, and controls in place for meeting quality standards. The EXOS Performance Nutrition products Multi-Vitamin Elite A.M./P.M., Omega-3, Catalyte Isotonic in lemon lime flavor, Aminos in lemon and berry flavors, and Whey Protein Isolate in chocolate and vanilla flavors have received the NSF Certified for Sport certification, which ensures that what’s on the label is in the bottle and that the product is free of more than 200 banned or prohibited substances.
